kalarm software package provides alarm message, command and email scheduler, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kalarm
kalarm is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kalarm package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kalarm *
You will get with kalarm package name, version, architecture and description in a table
